CHICK PEA || GARBANZO SAUTEED
INGREDIENTS
Chick Pea - 1 cup (soaked over night, min 8 hours)
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 pinch
White/Black urad dhal - 1 pinch
Dried red chilly - 1 broken
Curry leaves -1 flake
Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
METHOD
1. Wash and clean the soaked chick pea
2. Cook in a pressure cooker with salt and water to cover until done. Usually takes 15-20 mins in medium flame. Drain and keep aside
2. Heat oil in a pan, crackle mustard seeds, followed by urad dhal, red chilly, curry leaves.
3. Add cooked chick pea and mix well
4. Sprinkle coconut and mix for a minute and remove from flame
5. Serve hot as a snack or as breakfast
