PRAWNS FRY


Ingredients
Prawns - 1/2 kg
Red onions/shallots - 16 (8 for making masala, 8 add along with prawns)
Whole pepper - 1 tsp
Chilly powder - 1.5 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp



Method
1. Grind the whole pepper alone in a mixie can.
2. Then add 8 small onions, chilly powder, turmeric powder and grind well to make a smooth paste. Add little water is needed.
3. Wash and clean the prawns and place it in a bowl. Add salt to it and mix well.
4. Now add the remaining 8 small onions into it (choose very small sized onions for this).
5. Add the grinded masala and mix well with hand so that the masala is well spread with the prawns and onions.
6. Keep in Chiller for at least 30 minutes.
7. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a fry pan and shallow fry the prawns in the oil until it is cooked and serve hot.
