MOONG DHAL BANANA TREAT


Ingredients
Green moong dhal - 3/4 cup
Ripe Kerala banana - 1 cut into thin slices
Cardamom - 2 powdered with 1 tsp sugar
Grated Coconut - 3 tbsp
Sugar 4-5 tbsp


Method
1. Cook moong dhal with little salt and filter the water out.
2. Heat a pan with little oil. Add moong dhal, banana, cardamom powder, coconut and sugar .
3. Mix and cook for 2-3 minutes and serve as a snack.
4. Saute with few mustard seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves (optional)

  1. Adding banana is kinda twist to this recipe....I should try... Mom used prepare this with the home grown organic lentils when I was small...
