ADA DOSA


INGREDIENTS
White Rice - 1/2 cup
Idly Rice - 1/2 cup
Toor Dhal - 1/2 cup
Urad Dhal - 1/2 cup
Dried Red Chilies - 4
Salt - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 3 pinches



METHOD
1. Soak white rice, idly rice, toor dhal, dried red chilly together in water for 4 hours
2. Soak urad dhal separately in water for 4 hours
3. Then, grind ural dhal alone in grinder for 30 minutes by sprinkling water. Once done, move to a storage box
4. Grind the other soaked mixture for 20 minutes (this should be little coarse) and move this also to the storage box
5. Mix them together and add salt, refrigerate immediately
6. Before making dosa, take the flour outside. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, and asafoetida
7. Mix well and add little water if needed
8. Make dosa with gingerly oil and serve hot with thick coconut chutney


NOTE: Do not flatten the dosa, the flour should be coarse and little thick.
