Chicken Chukka


Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 kg clean and chop into small pieces
Big onion - 2 medium size, very finely sized
Green chilies - 2 finely chopped
Curry leaves - 2 flakes
Ginger - 1-1.5 inch piece
Garlic - 8-10 pods big
Red chilly dried whole - 10 no big
Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
Cardamon - 5 no
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch piece
Coconut oil - 3-4 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds -  1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 3/4 tsp
Salt - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves


Method:
- Heat a pan, roast red chilies, coriander seeds, cardamon and cinnamon stick for few minutes.
- Off the stove, once cool, grind in mixer and keep aside.
- Grind ginger and garlic and keep aside.
- Heat oil, ghee in a deep bottomed pan, crackle cumin seeds on it.
- Saute onion, green chilies, curry leaves, and add little salt
- Once onion is starting to get brown, add gg paste,and saute for 2 minutes
- Add chicken to it, followed by turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and saute for 2 mins
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes in medium
- Add grinded masala, garam masala and cook until chicken is done.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and server hot with Rice and Rasam.
