STUFFED BANANA || PAZHAM NIRACHATHU


Ingredients
Kerala banana - 3  (medium-sized, ripe)
Coconut - 3 tbsp (grated)
Sugar - 3 tbsp (grinded)
Cardamom - 1 tsp (grinded)
Cashew nuts - 5 (broken into very small pieces)
Raisins - 5
Ghee - 2 tsp
Oil (to fry)
All purpose flour - 2 tsp
Rice flour - 1 tsp


Method
In a heated pan, add 1 tsp ghee and fry cashews, raisins. Now add the grated coconut and mix well for 1 min. Add grinded cardamon, 2 tbsp grinded sugar and 1 tsp ghee and mix well for 1 min. Remove the mixture from the stove and let it cool for 5 mins.

Now take the bananas and make a cut in the banana in the middle without touching the edges. The cut should be a little deep. Now stuff the fried mixture into the banana cut. In a bowl, add maida flour, rice flour, little water and 1 tbsp grinded sugar and make a thick paste. Roll the stuffed banana in the above mixture. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the bananas until it becomes golden brown in color. Now serve the hot stuffed bananas for the snack.
