CHILLY CHICKEN


INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 450 g boneless (cleaned and cubed)

For chicken marinade:
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
Egg - 1
Fish Sauce (Pattise) - 1 tsp

Sunflower oil (for deep frying)
Butter - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 4 pods finely chopped
Onion - 1 1/2 big chopped
Bell pepper - 1 no chopped (1/2 green, 1/2 red)
Green chilly - 2
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Chilly Garlic sauce - 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Hot sauce - 1 tbsp
Maggie Magic Sarap - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp


METHOD
1. Marinate chicken for an hour
2. Deep fry marinated chicken pieces in oil and remove excess oil with tissue
3. Heat butter in a pan, saute garlic, followed by onion
4. Once onion is golden brown, add green chilies, bell peppers
5. When bell peppers are cooked, add sauces, water (1 cup), magic sarap, salt, and cook for 10 minutes
6. Add fried chicken and mix well
7. Sprinkle spring onions (optional) and serve hot
