CRISPY AND CRUNCHY BABY CORN FRITTERS

Ingredients:
Baby corn - 1 packet
Chili powder - 1.5 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp or little more
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup 
Bread crumbs - 1 cup (fresh or store-bought)
Refined oil for frying
Water as necessary

Method:
- Boil baby corn in water by adding little salt. Let it cool down and then cut it vertically
- Keep the baby corn in a plate. Add salt, chili powder, lemon juice and gently mix it. Keep it aside
- To make the batter, mix all purpose flour, salt, balance chili powder and gradually add water till you get the right consistency
- The batter shouldn't be too runny, it should coat the boiled baby corn
- Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying
- Dip baby corn pieces in the batter, roll them in bread crumbs and deep fry it on medium flame, until it turns golden brown color 
- Serve the hot crispy fritters with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise
