TOMATO ONION ROAST


Ingredients
Onions - 3 nos (big, chopped into medium thin pieces)
Tomato - 3 nos (medium, remove seeds, chop into medium thin pieces)
Green chilly - 1 no (slitted, chopped )
Chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp
Garam masala - 3/4tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2tsp
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Oil - 1tsp
Urad dhal
Mustard seeds
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste


Method
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When it start to crackle, add urid dhal, curry leaves, green chilly, and onion. Sprinkle a little salt and mix well. When the onion changes to golden brown, add tomato and mix well. Close the pan with a lid and cook for 5 mins, mix in between. Add chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt, water and mix well and cook for another 5 mins. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
