Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 3 cloves
Curry leaves - 1 flake
Items C:
Oil - 1tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Black urid dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Red onion / shallots - 20 nos, chopped length-wise
Spring onions - 1 stem finely chopped for seasoning

Method
Add oil in a non-stick pan and then add items A and mix well for a minute. Then add chicken, salt, water into it and cover and cook for nearly 15 mins so that the chicken gets cooked well and all the water evaporates. In the meantime grind Items B in a mixer and keep it separate. Now take Items C, heat oil in a deep bottomed frying pan, crackle mustard seeds. Add urid dhal and mix for 5 seconds. Now add curry leaves and small onions. Fry the onions till they turn translucent. Add the grinded paste into it and fry well for 2 minutes. Add the cooked chicken into it and mix well. If needed add little bit oil or water and cook for nearly 4-5 mins in sim flame. Sprinkle chopped spring onions and serve with boiled rice and Rasam
