COCONUT BREAD SURPRISE


Ingredients
White/wheat bread - 10 loafs
Coconut - 1/2 cup grated
Cashew nuts - 5
Almonds - 5
Walnuts - 5
Ghee - 1 tsp
Egg - 1
Sugar - 3 tsp
Oil



Method
Beat egg and 1 tsp sugar in a bowl and keep it separate. Pour 1 tsp ghee in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped nuts till they turn to golden brown. Keep them separate. In the same pan, add the grated coconut, 2 tsp sugar and fry till the coconut color turns to golden brown. Make a small well in the middle of the coconut mix and pour the egg mixture and mix the egg evenly. Cook till the mixture becomes dry. Now add the roasted nuts and turn off the flame, allow it to cool for a while.

Take a bread loaf, cut off its brown edges. Soak one side of the loaf in normal water for a second and press it well to remove all the water. Place the loaf in you palm, then place a small portion of filling on it. Wrap the bread well to form desired shapes. Shallow/deep fry in oil till the sides turn to golden brown and place in a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil. Serve hot with a cup of tea.

I have used this same filling to prepare Filled Banana Twist also. The filling is so yummy and you can eat it just like that also.
