POTATO MASALA || POORI KIZHANGU CURRY


Ingredients
Potato - 3 medium sized
Onion - 3 medium sized
Green chillies - 2 slitted
Ginger garlic paste - 1/4tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
Garam masala - 1/2tsp
Salt as needed
Oil, mustard seeds, urid dhal, curry leaves to saute
Water - 1 cup
Coriander leaves to garnish


Method
Boil potatoes, peel it, smash with hand and keep it aside. In a non-stick pan, add oil, mustard seeds, urid dhal, curry leaves and saute. Add chopped onions, green chilies and saute till onions becomes a little dark brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add potatoes and the dry powders along with salt and water and let it boil. When the mixture becomes thick garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
