EGG ROAST | MOM'S STYLE


This is how my mom prepares egg roast.

Ingredients
Egg - 4 boiled
Onion - 3 medium sized (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 3/4 tsp
Tomato - 2 medium sized seeded and chopped
Chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala pwd - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Salt to taste
water - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp

 

Method
Take a pan, pour oil into it and fry the whole eggs for 2-3 mins till the egg color turns golden brown.
Keep it aside. Put the chopped onions into the same pan and saute them till it turns golden brown in color. Add ginger garlic and mix well for 2 mins. Add the tomato pieces and cook for 3 mins in low flame. Now add chilly powder, pepper powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, curry leaves, salt and mix well. Add water and cook till the gravy becomes thick. Cut the boiled eggs into 2 halves vertically and place them into the masala with the cut portion down and cook for 4 minutes in low flame. Serve the hot and spicy Egg Roast with chapatti or parotta.
