CHOCOLATE NUTTY MICROWAVE CAKE


Made a microwave chocolate cake as a surprise for my family. An easy to make home-made cake which can be baked in just 3-4 mins in a microwave. Thanks to my friend Nisheena for sharing this recipe. This is the first cake I prepared in my life! Now I want to make more!!!!!



Ingredients and Method

Step 1: Maida - 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Cocoa powder - 2 tblsp
Salt a pinch
Sieve the above ingredients. (MIX 1)

Step 2:
Egg - 1
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup (Grind in mixie)
oil - 1/2 cup
vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Milk - 1/4 cup 
Beat egg first, then add sugar and beat again then add oil. Add the MIX 1 and 1/4 cup milk alternately to this. Milk is used to adjust the consistency. At last add 1 tsp vanilla essence.

Step 3:
Cashews - 5 nos (chop as small as possible)
Almonds - 5 nos (chop as small as possible)
Walnuts - 3 nos (chop as small as possible)
Cherry - 2 nos (finely chopped)
Add chopped nuts and cherries in to the dough and mix once or twice. If you want add some choco chips also.

Step 4:
Butter - 2 tsp
Grease a microwave safe bowl with melted butter. Now pour the cake dough evenly into the bowl.

Step 5: Set the Microwave on high power. Insert the bowl into it and cook for 3-4 minutes. Check using a toothpick or knife after 2.45 minutes. Once the toothpick comes out well the cake is ready. Do not over do, otherwise the cake will become powdery.



Step 6: Remove the bowl from the MW and close it with a tight lid otherwise MW cakes will become dry soon and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. If you want, decorate the cake with fudge or white cream topping and enjoy the cake with a cup of Tea!
