DRUMSTICK LEAVES THORAN


INGREDIENTS
Drumstick leaves - 2 cups
Onion - 1 medium chopped
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 2 pods
Small onion - 2 no
Cumin seeds - 1 pinch
Oil, mustard seeds, urad dhal, curry leaves for sauteing
Salt to taste


METHOD
1. Grind coconut, small onion, garlic, cumin seeds, turmeric pwd, chilly pwd coarsely and keep aside
2. Heat oil in a pan, crackle mustard seeds followed by urad dhal and curry leaves
3. Add onion, saute and when it turns translucent, add the grinded mixture
4. Fry for a minute and add drumstick leaves, salt, and sprinkle some water and cook until done
